Katherine Achatz is a fifth generation Coloradoan who grew up outside a small, isolated town in the mountains. She is a Northwestern Law grad, former real estate development lawyer, and currently makes her living writing about tax law. She has been a lover of romance novels since her grandmother gave her a bag of old Harlequins when she was in junior high school. She writes romantic suspense and contemporary romance and can’t wait to make it her day job.

Kathryn Anderson developed her love of writing at the age of ten, when she wrote about haunted houses and wild west adventures where the girls always got to be heroes. She is currently working on a young adult fantasy romance series where the girls still get to be heroes, and they get the boy. Kathryn has served WRWDC as president, vice president, retreat chair (twice), board member, contest chair and in other volunteer roles.
